Lana Rukavina, MA, LCPC
Lana is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and graduated from the Adler School of Professional Psychology, where she studied Counseling Psychology with a specialty in Sport and Health Psychology.
Lana has extensive experience working with teens and adults experiencing various concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress management, effective communication, life changes, and perinatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. Lana really connects with both women and men's issues and enjoys helping them explore their current challenges and identify what they really want and need in order to live a fulfilling life. Lana has also worked with many athletes regarding sport performance issues such as enhancing individual performance, motivation, focus, goal-setting, imagery, arousal control, performance anxiety, and teambuilding.
Lana utilizes a collaborative and individual approach to therapy whereby she works with her clients in order to develop and tailor treatment plans to fit each client’s personal needs. Lana understands that change may be extremely difficult and works with each client at their own pace to process and understand their concerns, as well as move towards becoming more self-aware and empowered as an individual.
