Wendy Spikings, MA, LPC
Wendy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and graduated from Lewis University, where she studied School Guidance and Counseling. Wendy has spent the last four years working in various school districts with tweens, teens, and young adults experiencing various concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem, anger management, eating disorders, sexual identity issues, stress management, and family communication. Wendy connects well with tween/teen girls and boys, adults, and families. She enjoys helping them explore their goals and become their best selves through self-discovery.
Wendy is passionate about using a collaborative approach with her clients. She believes that therapy should be relationship driven, and focuses on helping her client’s find self-actualization, discover their individual purpose, and apply meaning to their life. Wendy sees client’s as individuals with unique qualities who have individual obstacles that they are trying to overcome. Her great passion is to build a relationship that will help bring healing to people who have endured traumatic and stressful experiences and find peace in their lives.
