Cheryl Nowak, MA, LCPC
About
Cheryl is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a master's degree from Northwestern University. She is certified in trauma-informed therapy, DBT, and grief counseling. She also has years of experience working with children on the spectrum. She works with young children, pre-teens, teens, early adults, and beyond, offering care that is both compassionate and inclusive.
As a mom, she connects deeply to the struggles of motherhood and understands how hard it can be to ask for help when it comes to a child's mental health. Clients often describe her as warm, approachable, and genuine.
She is committed to creating a safe space where people from all stages and walks of life, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, can feel supported, heard, and empowered in their growth. She looks forward to being a part of your journey to becoming the best version of yourself.
