Lauren Fallon is a licensed clinical social worker. Lauren earned a Master of Social Work degree from Syracuse University. She currently teaches MSW students through her work with Simmons University in Boston via their online MSW program. Lauren teaches (and has a passion for) Group Work as well as social work practice.
Lauren values being approachable and making people feel comfortable. She believes that the client is the expert in their own life and belongs in the driver's seat. Unconditional positive regard is what you will get while working with Lauren. She will maintain a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to help you make the best possible decisions for your life. Lauren uses a variety of techniques, including Narrative therapy, CBT, Internal Family Systems, solution-focused techniques, as well as psychodynamics. All of Lauren’s approaches are from a trauma-informed lens.
Lauren specializes in working with tweens/teens, and young adults (especially girls and LGBTQIA+ youth) who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. Lauren also enjoys working with women who are struggling with infertility, as well as women who may be going through postpartum depression and/or anxiety. Lauren can also run Girls Groups for teens, Postpartum Groups, run family sessions, or any other form of group work that might be functional to her clients.
